The social ministry organizations, companion synods and camps are explained in the Gifts of Hope beneficiary organizations page. This website, www.GiftsOfHopeMetroDC.org, will remain up all year, so you can return whenever you need a meaningful gift. Remember to bookmark this page and to refer friends and family here.

Many have reported a special feeling of joy as they select gifts that in some way match a friend’s or family member’s interests. Some see Gifts of Hope as a way to make a quiet statement about their faith. And there are those who love Gifts of Hope for reasons of convenience and the wide range of gifts in all price categories. Whatever your reason for shopping here, we thank you for your commitment to Gifts of Hope.

Remember that as you purchase Gifts of Hope, others in the congregations of this Synod as well as increasing numbers beyond this area are making similar choices. Thus we combine to support special needs and activities identified by local social ministry organizations, affiliated ministries of the Synod, and the Synod’s companion Lutheran churches. Together, we spread the joy of God’s grace here and throughout the world.

Thanks to the many friends who have generously assisted the Synod Gifts of Hope Team and to local chapters of Thrivent Financial for Lutherans for supporting printing costs.
