Introduction

How much do programs at the Steinbruck Center cost?
Fees are $30/person/night for both the hostel and programming. Please contact the Steinbruck Center directly for more information on program fees.

How long is the Steinbruck Center open?
The Steinbruck Center offers programming year-round.

Where are you located?
We are located at Luther Place Memorial Church, on the north edge of Thomas Circle in NW Washington, D.C. Click here for a map with directions.

How will we get around D.C.?
All of our service projects are metro accessible, and the metro travels between Reagan Airport and Luther Place Church. While driving is an option, parking is expensive and sometimes difficult to come by. We recommend that groups use the Metro and bus system to get around D.C. while they are here.

Will we have time for sight-seeing?
We will work carefully with incoming groups to make sure that your stay has the right amount of free time in order to explore D.C.

How early should we plan our trips?
The Steinbruck Center offers reservations of up to a year in advance. Although we allow groups to register as late as one month before their stay, we ask that groups notify us at least three months early to allow time for planning.

My group type is not listed on any of your material. Can we still come?
Steinbruck Center staff are flexible and willing to work with many different kinds of groups to plan effective and rewarding urban immersion, service learning, or study programs. If you think your group could benefit from our programming, contact us.
